I have always been surrounded by food and its traditions. Growing up in New York in an Italian family, I enjoyed many Sunday dinners around the family table eating delicious, homemade food. I remember the happiness of watching people sit around the table enjoying a meal, sharing stories and laughing throughout the evening. I knew from an early age that these were memories I would carry throughout my life. I not only share them now with my own family but also help others create those same memories by providing them with wholesome, comforting food and the time to relax and enjoy it.
My background in the culinary arts began early in life. As a child rolling meatballs by my mother's side, to working in restaurants, bakeries and various food establishments, I have developed my skills over the years through cooking classes, self-instruction and practical experience. After enjoying over 15 years of cooking for family and friends, I made the decision to follow my longtime passion for cooking and opened Around the Table Personal Chef Service in March of 2002.
I am a proud and active member of the American Personal Chef Association and am trained in food safety and sanitation. I continue to improve my culinary skills by taking courses through local cooking institutions and studying new styles of cuisines and cooking techniques.
I believe that every meal should be made with thought and care. It is my goal to give time-challenged, busy people the time to relax by providing them with the convenience of delicious and healthy meals to be enjoyed around their own table.
